David is a former CEO, current Business Advisor and Executive Coach. For most of his career, David has been applying the principles of business to not-for-profits in sport and charities, and to businesses supporting those two sectors.

As a former CEO of the Australian Cricket Board and the founding CEO of the International Cricket Council (1993-2001), David was instrumental in developing both organizations to take cricket into the $100m+ business arena.

Sport has had to survive and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, making the transition from amateurism to professional management without sacrificing either its core values or its contribution to the community.

David has been a national and international leader in change management and in the development of "off-field" management teams to complement the elite players. He has a keen appreciation of the way that people from different cultures contribute to organizational progress, having traveled extensively and worked closely with senior businessmen and women in over 50 countries.

From an early career in education, David's focus has been on people. He has actively mentored staff and executive teams in Australian and International cricket and in business.

The insights and experience gained through his long career in cricket management are now being applied in advising businesses, senior executives and their teams as they too face the challenge of a changing and competitive world.
